Com o reencontro no ano de 2003 de Hudson Arsênio (Guitarra / Vocais) e Riti Santiago (Bateria) ambos ex- “Satan's Pray”, se tem a concepção inicial a respeito do que futuramente viria a se tornar a banda ”Moretools”. João (Guitarra) e Boca (Baixo) ambos ex- “Sons of Slaves” se juntam ao time e dão inicio as composições da banda, restava agora encontrar uma voz. Eles encontram não somente um, mais sim dois vocalistas, Rhavi ex-”Morbid Whisper” e Mário ex-”Flesh temptation” , que passam a dividir os vocais fechando assim a primeira formação da banda, que ainda sem nome se concentra na composição de suas primeiras músicas.

Pouco tempo depois Boca e Mário deixam a banda por motivos pessoais. O que não desanima nem um pouco os demais companheiros que continuam focados em suas composições, e agora eles também tem um nome... “Morttus”. A banda recebe então seu primeiro convite pra um show, no lançamento do CD da banda “Violator”. É realizado então o primeiro show da banda “Morttus” mesmo sem baixista.

Em meados de 2004 ocorre uma nova mudança, João deixa a banda sendo substituido por Alu e o posto de baixista é finalmente ocupado por J.H. Alcantara. A banda passa a adotar o nome “Moretools” e contava com Rhavi (Vocais), Riti Santiago (Bateria), J.H. Alcantara (baixo), Hudson Arsênio (Guitarra / Vocais) e Alu Pedrotti (Guitarra).   Em 2012, J.H. se mudou por motivos de trabalho, mas continua participando a distância atraves de composições. O posto das 5 cordas graves estava mais uma vez  aberto, e foi preenchido pela entrada de Daniel Gonçalves (Device-DF).

Ao longo desses anos, a Moretools tem se apresentado em vários shows, desde pequenos eventos até grandes festivais como Rollapedra, Porão do Rock, Marreco´s Fest, Headbanger´s Attack, WOA Battle of Bands, entre outros, sempre exalando uma grande fúria sonora. Nesse caminho a banda já dividiu o palco com grandes nomes do Metal como Krisium, Onslaught, Hirax, DOOM, Suicidal Tendecies, Rage, Torture Squad, entre outras.
 
Em 2008 a banda lança seu primeiro single, contendo 3 músicas e mais um vídeo da música "To Trust". Em 2010 lançaram o primeiro CD homônimo, contendo 12 músicas e mais um clipe da música “Pain Screams”, uma produção em parceria com a agência Cria e direção e edição de Pedro Bedê, que teve uma excelente aceitação pelo público e mídia especializada. Em 2013 a banda produziu e participou da gravação do DVD Território Metálico, e atualmente esta em fase de composição para seu próximo full length.

With the reunion in 2003 of Hudson Arsênio (Guitar / Vocals) and Riti Santiago (Drums), both former members of "Satan's Pray", we have the initial conception as to what, in the near future, was to become the band "Moretools". Joao (Guitar) and Boca (Bass), both former members of "Sons of Slaves" join the team and they start to compose. Now all that was left was to find a voice. They find not one, but rather two vocalists. Rhavi, former member of "Morbid Whisper", and Mario, former member of "Flesh temptation", which now divide the vocals, thus closing the first formation of the band, still unnamed and focusing on compose its first songs.

Shortly after, Boca and Mario leaves the band for personal reasons. Nevertheless, this do not stop the other comrades who remain focused on their compositions, and now they have a name ... "Morttus". The band then receives its first call for a gig at the release of the new album of the band "Violator". It´s carried out then, the first concert of the band "Morttus", still without a bass player.

In mid-2004 there is a new change in formation. João leaves the band and is replaced by Alu and bassist station is finally occupied by J.H. Alcantara. The band adopts the name "Moretools" and has Rhavi (Vocals), Riti Santiago (Drums), JH Alcantara (Bass), Hudson Arsenio (Guitar / Vocals) and Alu Pedrotti (Guitar). In 2012, J.H. left the band by job reasons but still participates in through the compositions. The post of the 5 bass strings was once again open, and this time it was fulfilled with Daniel Gonçalves (Device-DF).

Over the years, Moretools has performed in several shows, from small events to large festivals like Rollapedra, Porão do Rock, Marreco´s Fest, Headbanger´s Attack, WOA Battle of Bands, among others, always exhaling a great sonoric fury. In this way, the band has shared the stage with big names of the worldwide metal scene as Krisium, Onslaught, Hirax, DOOM, Suicidal Tendencies, Rage, Torture Squad, among others.

In 2008, the band released their first single, containing three songs and one music video of the song "To Trust". In 2010 released their first self-titled CD containing 12 songs and 1 music video of the song "Pain Screams," a production partnership with Cria Agency and direction and editing of Pedro Bedê, which had an excellent acceptance by the public and specialized media. In 2013, the band produced and recorded the DVD Território Metálico (Metallic Territory), and currently is in composition phase for his next full length.

When the most Mediocre and Rotten human feelings

manifest themselves in place of Reason,

the most repulsive feelings, as Hate, Envy, Revenge and Cynicism

have to be expelled somehow...
